I am so glad I get to talk about smile makeovers today. It is something that I am very passionate about because a lot of people can find a cheaper veneer, they can find cheaper crowns, and then they come to me saying, "Please fix my smile." And so smile makeover entails when they might be missing a tooth, they might have uneven gums, they might have some crowns and fillings, but their smile just doesn't look natural.
One of the first things we do is do a "smile design" where we'll take photographs and we'll take models, and we'll send it to one of my artisans and they'll actually wax up a design that they think will look good for that person's facial features and the input I've given to them, listening to them, what kind of lifestyle they have, what kind of look they want to achieve. And then they come back and we can discuss as a team how they can get the smile of their dreams. And sometimes it involves implants, sometimes it involves orthodontics and veneers and crowns, but whatever it is, it's what the patient wants so they can smile better and have it last a long, long time.
